So you have got yourself a new golden retriever and are trying to come up with some good retriever names. Well there are many to choose from. There is no need to rush the process because you don't want to risk being unhappy with the name later. Nor do you want to change your dog's name after he or she has become accustomed to the name and gets confused or won't respond to the new name. Dog names can be just as important as naming a child because you and your new retriever will be stuck with the name for the rest of its life.
Here are a few retriever names that may suit your new dog. Names like Goldie, Lassie, Lilly, Shadow, Lady, or Richie. You could also choose a name that describes their personality such as Bubbles, Bouncy, Happy, Spazz, or Sparky. Maybe you would want to think of other Golden Retriever names that where more human oriented. For a female Retriever you could choose names like Anne, Bell, Summer, Maggie, or Jen. For a male, names like Bad, Bert, Chewie, Walker or Louie, coming up with Golden Retriever names that you actually want to use.
It is not as simple as it seems. You may feel like you need to name your dog instantly, this simply is not true. You may even want to wait a few days before naming you dog to insure you have a name that fits.
